It really was the best one ever ….
Thank you to everyone for their hard work, disciplined approach and focus…. not to mention the “p” for practice word
Relaxing before the concert
The Quantz …. A Baroque trio sonata with harpsichord …. so tricky at first ….counting, counting, counting and then suddenly it’s their favourite piece of music
Rehearsals all morning and then again at 16.00, with informal concerts, too.
A new activity …. Playing flute and clarinet duets with Nick and Emma …. are you ready ?
And saxophone duets and trios with Nick on tenor …. up your game boys!
Breathing exercises, which really work and Charles taking a well earned rest!
Practising in the garden whilst the boys have fun
Cards and quiz time and dry clay modelling.
Don’t look too closely parents ….we are spitting rice ….to help with air speed ….of course!
Making biscuits and then waiting impatiently for them to be cooked in the oven
Making pizza dough and shelling broad beans
Chocolate fondue …. it was devoured at speed.
The house, garden and immediate locality, where we had a picnic and went for a night walk
