This workshop is a comprehensive, small-group course designed for intermediate musicians looking to enhance their skills. With a focus on tone, technique, breathing, articulation, and intonation, this programme provides a thorough “check-up” to ensure you’re progressing in the right direction.

Morning Session: Engage in focused small-group learning sessions, with personal attention from our expert tutors.

Afternoon Break: After lunch, enjoy a break for a walk, chat, or some practice.

Afternoon Session: Rejoin the group from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM for a session to apply what you’ve learned.

Our favourite summer retreat and the 15th year at this lovely venue in the Suffolk countryside. A beautiful old country house set in its own grounds with orchard and vegetable garden surrounded by miles of arable farmlands and ancient woods. Approximately 3 miles from historic Lavenham and 5 miles from Bury St. Edmunds. Many local walks and cycle routes. Perfect for that summer retreat. Partners welcome. There are no en-suites at this venue but bathrooms very near to the bedrooms. Accommodation ranges from private double or single, very large twin share or a downstairs room with single bed.
